Driven by the desire to see women have a stronger sense of self-acceptance ignited Candace's vision for QueenLyfe Inc. In her pursuit of purpose, Candace Strother created the L.Y.F.E. acronym which stands for Love. Yourself. First. Everyday. Candace saw a need for women to reconnect to their birth rights as "Queens" by promoting the powerful message of self-love. When Candace became a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc., she was able to experience and understand the power of collaboration and sisterhood. A graduate of the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, Candace earned a Bachelor’s of Sciences in Business Marketing, and holds over 15 years of experience within financial services. Because Candace understands the importance of financial literacy, and credit education, she is determined to equip her community with tools to make informed financial decisions.  Since the 2014 establishment of QueenLyfe Inc., the movement has evolved into a non-profit corporation whose mission is to promote financial literacy, creative expression, healthy relationships, mentorship and civic engagement through our workshops and events for multi-cultural women of all ages. We are expanding the mindset of women to reconnect to their natural birthright as Queens through the power of self-love.

DJ LuNetta is originally from Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and grew up in Houston, Texas. From an early age, music has been a significant part of her life. It was at the University of Arizona where DJ LuNetta was first expected to cover the music at her friends' parties. It was during this time that a passion for playing music for people and watching its effect as they danced to their favorite songs began.  In October of 2014, DJ LuNetta returned home to Houston where she enrolled in Superstar Spin Academy and met DJ Supastar, founder of the academy. This was the first time DJ LuNetta was able to interact with another female DJ and she knew at that moment it was possible for her to be become a female DJ. Under the teaching of DJ Jnastic, DJ LuNetta gained a foundation, in which she learned the history and techniques behind beat matching to pursue her DJing career. Currently, she is a mobile DJ on the move to a party near you. DJ LuNetta is dedicated to going above and beyond to ensure your event is fun and memorable.
